Tail Push Rod Teflon Sleeve
« on: May 25, 2014, 01:34:50 PM »
There are two pieces of clear tubing included in the kit that are placed on the tail control rod.  They are about 105 mm long.  Are these sleeves heat shrink?  Do I need the full length of the tube?

Yes they are heat shrink but be careful not to over heat the teflon. You can trim it down to just what you need.

Start from the center of the tubes when heating them, too, to avoid bubbles.

I did the cut in half trick.  Unfortunately I did not wait long enough to insert the pus rod into the guide and because it was still a little soft it caught on the edge of the guide hole and bugged it up.  I only have one spare piece now.
