Thanks guys! I actually have just been accepted on the team as a rep, Matt turned me onto the forum! I'm very excited to be joining you guys and helping out :) I love the comraderie and support among the Synergy family. You might know me as Freeko from Helifreak, I do recognize a couple of you. This looks like an awesome forum.

Welcome to the party!

Nice to see synergy getting more rep on the mid/upper east coast. I think for the longest time it's just been Charles holding down the fort here in MD.

PS, seeing as your in VA, think you'll make Invasion of The Helis? Was trying to get as many synergy guys as possible for a blue out. Eric Pounds and a few others will be there :D

I've been planning to attend Invasion, but work is now threatening to send me to Ohio this weekend... will have to see what happens this week! I am shooting to be there :)

I sent an email to fredericksburgrc earlier this week. When I put 6900 Jefferson Davis Highway Spotsylvania, VA. 22553 into Google maps I'm not sure it's going to take me to the right place. Can anyone confirm this for me? Looking from satellite view it seems a bit more in-the-middle-of-townish than I expected.

The fburg field is sort of a weird spot for GPS. Many times folks get sent to the renter's house that's on the far upper right corner in sat view. Montee runs the website and I run the code behind it. I'm thinking of swapping from a street addy to coords. GPS systems generally accurately plot to those.

GPS also tries to take folks down rt 1 partways >.>

Essentially for time/ease you take 95 to exit 118 for Thornburg. From 95, take Mudd Tavern west to the intersection 300ft from the overpass. Then take a right onto rt.1 north. From the intersection the fburg field is about 500~1000ft on the left at the top of the hill, or really, it's the first opening/farm you'll see.

Beware blowing the stopsign at the overpass. The local sheriff is a Barney Fife and gets a mound of tickets over it.

The nice thing about fburg like you pointed out is how close it is to amenities. Foodlion/ABC store are 2min driving south rt.1. Nice places for dinner are about 10m north on rt.1 (Friday nights we bumrush Red Robin as an event ground).

The addy does give the right field. You'll note all the ATV trails we have everywhere >.>
The long strip through a field below the main field is for drag racing....stuff. Helis....semis...etc

38°08'36.5"N 77°31'39.3"W is the exact location.
