I was just compensating for the wind.
All I have proven so far is the controls and basic setup is in the ballpark.
Real flights later this week will be the real test.
even for the wind, you dont use trim on your TX with a FBL unit. trim is read as a control input. you will just have to compensate for it, once you make the adjustment, the FBL should do a pretty decent job of holding the attitude even in the wind though. it really shouldn't drift much in the wind anyway actually.
i go ahead an disable all of my trims, so they are not even active anymore and if they get hit by mistake, its no big deal.
