On the arms that attach to the blade grips, outer bolt I think it's M3x6? Have to grind a few mm off the threads or they contact the radial bearing way before the get snug. Anyone else have this happen?

there are 2 differnent size bolts to hold on the pitch arms. one is an M3x8, one is an M3x6. do you by chance have them reversed? or maybe you ended up with 2 M3x8?

Yeah I checked the length and both are correct. 3X6 for the blade side but its def to long. I can feel it impact the bearing before its tight. I went ahead and ground a few threads off and tightend up nice and the grip still turns smooth

i had a similar "feeling" with a set one time. what it actually was was the bottom of the head on the m3x6 bolt hitting the pitch arm on the way into the are recessed for the head of the bolt. i bet that is the issue here. i doubt there was that large of a dimensional inaccuracy with the blade grip itself.

This has happened and been reported in the past, like Mike said, the OD of the Fastner will actually rub against the ID of the recess of the Pitch Arm. Take the pitch arm (not installed) and run the fastener down and rotate it back and forth several times to wear in. Verify you have the correct lengths in the rightful place and install. Do not crank these down either when tightening. Good luck..

Sounds like the same thing that happened to me. The holes in the pitch arms are cut to deep.
Matt sent me out another set. He had a few that made it through QC before catching the issue.

^^It has to be that  PerspectiveVisuals, the grip gets tight when it contacts the bearing and I know it's the right bolt. Who should I email about it?
