First Build............Flights!!!
« on: November 28, 2014, 07:27:27 PM »
OK guys
Haven't been on here in a while. Did my first build (thanks for all the input) I now have 28 flights and I have to say I love this thing.  I still have my 450X but the more I fly the E5 the more I don't want to fly it.

I put my Go Pro on the side of the E5 the other day.

Here is some video

Great vid!

How did you attach your GoPro?  Any pics of that?  I just got one and well haven't really thought of a good way to attach it.  It's way too cold and crappy out to fly now anyways, but can be ready for spring!

Here are some pics.

I attached it to the right side using industrial 2 sided tape.

Because of where lens is on the Go Pro left side mounting would probably be better but I have my satellite there and didn't want to reroute it.

So you put it on there with JUST tape and no other clamps?

That was a nice flight.  Just the way I like to do it with the
Exception of the inverted stuff.  I am not there yet.

Yep.

It's crazy strong 2 sided mounting tape. I have used it for years with Go Pros and kart racing.
