Pinion question...

Is there a 15t pinion formthe e5?  Mine was originally set up as an E5s so i am running a 510kv motor.  2300rpm is at the extreme high end for my current gearing (14t pinion, 119t main).  My gov is having a hard time with my current gearing so i am looking at options. 

I figure i have 3 options:

1-> stretch it back to an E5s
2-> larger pinion
3-> change the motor

I do have a 1650kv motor from an eflite 550x that i was given at Christmas.  Not sure how well it would work as it bogs in my buddies 550x.

Thoughts?

Yep, part# 305-015 is what you need.  1650kv? If that's correct, that high of kv motor wouldn't work in any configuration in the E5.  A 6s setup requires around 1100kv.  Hope this helps!  Rob

I figured the 1650 wouldnt work.  I do like the 12cell setup though.  Time for a 15t pinion.  Hopefully Dennis has one in stock.
