Flight times with OS 105 HZ-R motor?

Morning guys -

Just curious what kind of flight times folks are achieving with the N7 equipped with an OS 105 HZ-R motor?

I'm currently running Byron Rotor Rage 15%, with Normal mode RPM at 1750 and IdleUp 1 at 1850.
Right now just flying basic circuits with a few pirouettes, nothing really aerobatic.
Filling the tank to just below the pressure tap, and getting maybe 5 1/2 minutes - and that's with the fuel magnet pickup slurping off the bottom of the tank.

Granted, I'm probably still running too rich - trying to be VERY cautious with this $$ engine!!

So, as I start leaning the engine a bit more, any chance of a noticeable improvement in flight times?

i fly mine @ IU1 - 1750 & IU2 - 1950.
i have the hatori pipe, and i get 7 min of hard flying out of mine. mostly in IU2.
i use the Lynx MOAS magnet, i have had better luck with them than the other one.

Mine has a 91 now. When I flew the 105 seven minutes or so was the norm.  Using the fuel magnet and hatori.

Sounds like you guys are getting MUCH better mileage out of your tanks than I am right now!!

Looks like I still have a bit of tuning to do at my next flying session ...

It can be hard to make ones self lean them out.  I came from nitro airplanes and I can tell you tuning a Nitro heli is a bit different.  Running one too rich is almost as bad as too lean :)

I'm getting 8 minutes out of mine. The O.S.105HZ-r is now a non-pumped motor. I was having issues with the pump.
I love the smell of Nitro in the morning!

i keep mine fairly rich too man. on my mid i am at around 7/8 to 1 and somewhere near 1-3/4 on the high when its cool. bare in mind, i have the correct needle seat in mine now, so mine runs leaner than the incorrect seat did. much leaner.

i keep mine rich enough so when in a hover the tail is not perfectly 100% happy, every now and then it will get a little agitated with me. but when i load her up, she is stout. that comes from my gasser tuning experience.

My last nitro experience was also mainly with airplanes - MANY years ago when things were simpler - 
kind of difficult to just point the nose up and adjust the needle valve when the engine is attached to a 700-class helicopter!!  :P

I know I have the correct needle valve assembly for mine -
Futaba's Steve Helms was in the neighborhood during the build and took care of that for me.
(Glad I didn't have to chase THAT issue around!!)

So, now that I have enough flights on the N7 that it should be about broken in -
would anyone be willing to offer a quick mini-course in the fine art of adjusting the needle valves on this engine?

6 minutes here using 20% fuel and 1950 on the head.
