The future
« on: June 17, 2015, 08:22:06 AM »
I was just reading a post on helifreak of manufacturers dropping some models and support for them.  I hope it is does not come to that for Matt and Synergy.  I love my E5 and truth be told if I can't fly it I would probably give up the hobby..

Here is to wishing Synergy a long life :)

From what I took from the thread, and it may be how I read it was that there are discussions on other forums of companies dropping some product support.  I know with my 500 pro I some parts require upgrading to newer designs before replacing the required part.  Luckily it primarily sits on a shelf.  Should I actually log more than one flight a month on it I am afraid it would be trashed if it hit the ground.

The build of the E5 has ruined me for lesser quality models lol.  I would of placed my second heli, a tt mini titan as my next favorite.  I gave that to a friend though for him to learn on.  If anything I would build a second E5 as I find it to be my preference size wise.

So many parts are compatible with so many Synergy Models, that is one of the many forces of the Synergy models. I fly the hell out of my Synergy models....I have a E6, not E5 stretch, and I can still easily find parts for it....therefore no worries James.

My shifts changed so now i only have weekends most weeks.  I miss only having to work half a year.  Love the nights off though.

We are a small family business with very low overhead. We are able to weather just about any financial storm easily. Right now I am working on two different models, one of which has been flying since February of this year.
Rest assured, Synergy is not going anywhere. We are here for our customers.

Thanks,

Matt Botos

Don't doubt the man Matt Botos. Me very much a Green horn in the hobby back in early 2009, I remember back in late 2009 sitting at a table at a Applebee's surrounded by guys from Avant, Thunder Tiger, and Align , listening to them talking about the Curtis Younblood and Matt Botos. I remember them doubting the very survival of Synergy and how they stacked the odds against Matt solely taking the reigns of Synergy, I remember like it was yesterday them saying that he was a One man show and that he would never be able to make it in this hobby with the current models (N9, E9, N5) that where in production, Again not being in the hobby for long, and flying Avant at the time, it made me want to pull for him and the brand even more, (The Under Dog as you say) I had the chance to meet him and a great friendship cultivated from it,  I sold all my Helis and invested in numerous N5's and N9's . Best thing I ever did! I've been a part of Synergy since, and to see where this brand as come and to see the doubters and haters become believers over the years, just proves that this dynamic duo is hear to stay! Matt and Amy do things different for sure, that difference being Consistent Quality and Unmatched Customer Service, I for one couldn't be more proud to be a part of this family. I know the hurdles he and Amy and the Synergy Family as a whole have had to overcome to build this trendsetting Brand as well as the Energy everyone expels to keep that very momentum going, Hats off to all ! No doubt Matt with a Cherry Kicker , have pulled out all the stops on this next machine, and best thing there's more coming down the pipe! Question is, Will the other brands have what it takes to catch us? I already know the answer to that question.😎

Hmmm.  I enjoy it everytime i put my E5 up.  All the cub scouts in my group enjoynit when i show them the E5 lol.   Not the same reaction when they see my old 500pro.  Once i get around to gathering the parts needed to assemble my other E5 again my old 500 may become like my old mini titan did, donated to a new home so someone else can enjoy this hobby as well.

I know a fella (a good friend actually) living in Greely that would really enjoy seeing my old 500 show up in a box, and a couple of cub scouts here that would love to learn on the old girl.

True.  All businesses are in the same boat as far as lowering overhead, increasing sales, and all while trying to hold expenses in check.

I recently pick a E7 too and love it, now I have the E5 And aE7se, love the e5 for the easy one 6s and fly, but the e7 has lots of power flys on rails too, don"t want to fly anything else, if it not a synergy I don"t want it :)
