Scorpion 4530...which KV to get?

Hello,

I am new to the Synergy world. I just picked up an E5 a few weeks ago and I must say I am very impressed with the quality, simplicity and flight performance. That being said I am in the market for an e7se an I have started to piece it together. I currently have all the cyclic servos and a Cc 160hvf. I am leaning towards a scorpion 4530 and would like to know what kv/pinion combo would be best. I like hard crisp 3d performance and fast big Sky type loops and such. I would like to run around a 2150 to 2200 hs with rail 696s. I am stuck between the 540kv and the 500kv. Will be running 12s. Any input is appreciated.

Go for the 520kv range and a 13t pinion. You'll be in love

Oh just saw your 540 and 500kv options... I run a Xnova 4530 500kv with a 14t pinion at 2150 and absolutely love it. This is using the Kosmik gov.

Hi Danny!

I am building my E7se now, and have saved up to a Kontronik Kosmik esc and a Pyro 750-50L motor. I am going to use this with an Ikon flybarless gyro. Would you recommend me to use the Kosmik governor or the proactive governor in the Ikon.

Either one is excellent. The Kosmik gov is easier to set up and no extra sensors required I use the Kosmik gov on my machines with Brain.
