xnova 4530 or XTS 4530
« on: September 30, 2017, 11:13:09 AM »
Im looking to start my 766 build shortly and have been looking at the xnova 4530-500.

Im assuming the XTS 4530-525 would be a little more powerful and power hungry?. Im not looking to go crazy as only running 45-90c packs in 12s config, but still obviously want a capable machine for hard sport/ mild 3d.

160 esc and 766 blades.

I run the 4530-500 in mine with a CC 160HV and 766 and it's more than capable for the type of flying you are talking about and with good flight times.

The XTS will have thicker wire in the windings.  I went that way figuring it would run cooler, and the power is there if I need it.  I'm getting 8 minutes on my 806 with that motor.  This winter it will get telemetry installed on it and I'll be able to fly longer.
