Updated E5 kit coming soon?

Just curious, is there anything in the works for a new E5?
Matt hinted about this when the 516 came out, I believe it was mentioned in one of the new release videos.
Or maybe I didn't hear it right.

I know there will be a stretch kit for the 516 that will be, 556 Mat did indicate on Burt and Kyle’s podcast that he had some frozen peas in the works and where in the testing stages to Proto types

I know there will be a stretch kit for the 516 that will be a 556 Mat did indicate on Burt and Kyle’s podcast that he had some frozen peas in the works and where in the testing stages. He has 2 prototypes that I’m assuming Matt and rob are putting through their paces:-)

Also I suspect from past videos I’ve heard from Mat talking in regards to e5 I believe he felt that it worked better as a 600 set up so in my theory based off collected information I feel he’s either working on a 600 class that can stretch to a 700 and run off at six and 12s set up but I could just be wrong but that is still information I have gathered

I like your theory regarding a true 600 size that is stretchable to a 700 size.
Lets see if something pops up at IRCHA, maybe a quick peek at something new, who knows.

I remember Matt mentioning the E5 as 600 during the 516 reveal as well.
The E5 shares major driveline parts with the E7SE so is already plenty strong and an awesome heli to fly when setup as 626. A natural 600 class heli imo.
That said, I'm very interested to see what Matt might change with an updated kit.

I really like the E5. It is my favourite Heli or Helis. I have a E5S 626 and a E5SS 700. I also have the E7SE and love that I can interchange gears, booms, etc. I also have booms to make it a 550 or 600.

Of course I would very interested in the upgrades of what Matt has in mind for it but it’s great the way it is.

came back to the hobby for the e-5, what could do to make it better, its a great machine. I liked it because it had so much to offer, easy 6s setup, when you get better with it you can stretch it, to 606. 626, 696, LIFE IS GOOD. OK maybe color canopy.Cliff
