I’m Steve Smith from California. I’ve been flying for a long time. I used to fly with the century guys Garret and Craig Oku years ago. I still fly my N9 I bought at the original release. It’s been converted to FBL with the cgy750. I recently built the 516 stretch and I am loving the quality and feel in flight. I’m no smack pilot by any stretch. I mostly try and fly smooth precision style.
I used to have the 14mz, but now fly the 18sz with telemetry being the draw there. I flew pretty much just vbar for half a dozen years, then have tried brain, and settled on cgy or my trusty 5.3 pro vbar.
I love to stretch any and all my helicopters for longer flights and lighter feel.
Being a mechanic by trade all my life and growing up in Silicon Valley I really appreciate and enjoy high tech and well made machines. The synergy line is all that.
