Downloaded this last night. Spent 30 minutes tweaking the electronic fly bar to fly like mine. It's amazing how close it flies!

Did the download last night also.
Can you share what you did as far as tweaking?  I won't get to fly my e7 until we return from vacation. Would be nice to be able to fly the sim a bit first.
Thanks
Alan

I set the head speeds on the governor to match what I run. I run 1850, 2000, and 2200.

The bulk of the time was spent adjusting the roll rates on the aileron, elevator and the yaw rate of the tail in the electronic flybar settings. The stock settings are a bit fast. I turned them down a little at a time until i felt it responded like my e7. I settled at 240 aileron and elevator and 695 on the yaw rate of the tail.

Still plenty fast for low altitude rolls and flips but probably a bit slow if you are doing any hard 3d. I have the agility in my vbar set to 95 if you are familiar with the vbar setups.

Agreed...flies awesome but sounds nothing like the tamed beast that it is...

Thanks for the post Yanick! Realflight is really stepping up the simulator game! The E6 and E7 fly very well in the simulator.

Just got mine working with the blue-green canopy, increased aileron to 270 and  tail to 800. All else perfect.  At 2200 it's
just great to practice on.

Ditto on the audio files. Has anyone created aftermarket files? I really can't hardly stand to fly it with the audio files, even turned down to barely audible.

Coming from Phoenix to RF6, I like a few of the items, but the audio, mirror finish on most of the surfaces and latency are a bugger though. I have been playing with the sim rate to reduce the latency, but haven't found a fix for the other items yet.

Did you try changing the motor sound files under the edit function? I normally use one of the turbine sounds. For me it gets the closest to realistic.

If you go to the edit link in the drop down menu then airframe then to heli mechanics under then sound profile you have multiple profiles you can choose from. I use the "turbine engine" sound. It sounds a little wierd while spooling up but when it gets to speed it sounds better. Well at least to my ear. ;D

Yes, but it is just weird changing the profile sound to something completely different. Hopefully someone will get a recording of their E7 and share....   probably will end up being me!
