Alan Also make sure the Backlash on the (MOTOR-MAIN GEAR) are just right. To tight and it will heat that motor up as well... ;)

Mesh is spot on.
My timing was set high so I lowered that to medium.  PWN was at 8.
We'll see how that does.

Anyone going to Hunstville?  They way the weather has been I may not get to trim it nefore then.  If not I may get some of that expert help at Huntsville.

My AFR's on the CGY750 are running 62 on AIL and 67 on ELE to get 8 Degrees.  Is that too high?

Thanks for the help this past weekend Bill and Steve.
Flew again today. Wind was rough.
I managed to increase the gains even further by lowering the D gain and I gain on AIL  I now have NO wobble at 1800 rpm. Sweet.  Very stable and smooth flying at 2050 head speed.  Just need to get some days where the wind is not gusting to 20 and above!

Got two more flights in this afternoon before it rained.  Increased the AIL and ELE gains some more.  Flies rock solid.  Need to up the ELE rate a bit.  Rolls ok but back flips are a bit slow.

Really liking this machine!

Well I put her in the dirt this past weekend. Got disoriented then let it get behind me. Put it in to avoid hitting anyone. The e7 crashes well. Toasted the blades, tail tube, one LG, main shaft, spindle and had to replace then two upper main shaft bearings. Not bad considering how hard it hit.
I was happy this was not the one with a TT installed!

Making that one an e6 for the time being since I just finished a second e7 with TT.

Whoops!  Glad you're already getting it back together.  Give me a shout if you have any questions setting it up as an e6. Also, did that document I sent you help explain things a little bit?

Yes. I did get the cgy750 flying nicely. I did switch it out for a vbar though. Call me a traitor:-)
Setting up the vbar is whole lot less work so in the long run vbar is better for me. But at least I can say I have tried the futaba.
