Main Gear Question

Hey everyone,
I'm new here and I just picked up a used E7. The quality is instantly noticeable. Quick question, are there multiple versions of the helical main gear? The one I have has holes in it but every other E7 I have seen seems to have a solid gear without holes. Any input?

Welcome to the Synergy family!, if you need any help just give us a shout! 

The maingear you have is the latest version of the gear, no difference in the gears other than the new one having the lightening holes.

AAA+++ for Ross, That is the new gear. There is No difference other than the holes. The reasoning behind the New Look is the Bits on the CNC Machine where getting hot and Matt having the Foresight of this Potential Problem had the Holes cut like the other Models. If the Bit gets to hot the heat transfer could cause possible warp-age on the Delrin Gear during the machining process.  I think it looks great... This is what we come to expect when you fly Synergy Products. Even Though the Heli's are put through Brutal Testing and Matt has Bought off on the Design, He still looks for ways to improve the Quality of the Product Translating into a Solid Performing/Durable Machine and One Happy Synergy Customer!!!!! Thats Just How  Rolls.lol
