I will just be a spectator but I am ready to go.  I am still making progress and don't think I'm ready for the ircha flight line.   Though i have thought how great it would be to do my fist flips and such at this event.  I got them on the sim but havent transfered them to real life I will be there Saturday and am looking foreward to meeting everyone.  I hope to meet Matt the creator of this obsession I have.  I have heard so many kind words about him from guys like Kevin and Ralph but have yet got the opportunity to meet him.  I also owe Kevin a face to face thanks for the phone calls we have had to get my N5c dialed in.  Everyone have a safe trip to the event and enjoy!

You know craig1980 there is a area for beginners at IRCHA.
Matt should also be easy to find, because he will have a vendor tent plus a flight line pilots tent, he should therefore hang out there a bit, other wise you will find team Synergy pilots there also. All the team pilots should be wearing the team polo.

My first real event was Birmingham earlier this year. I was probably at the stage you are at right now.  I could just barely do flips. I was able to do some big air. Stall turns and such. But no backwards flight or inverted.
I just went ahead and jumped in.  It is intimidating at first flying behind the likes of Matt, Bobby, Bert and others but everyone was supportive. That is the great thing about this hobby!
I had just purchased my first Synergy and my first nitro just a few weeks earlier. It was a used N5. It flew well but had some mechanical issues. Fortunately I was able to hook up with the Synergy team. My bird received some expert troubleshooting and my problems were solved. That was the hook so to speak  and I am now the proud owner of an E6, E7 and hopefully an E5 soon.  I don't have the N5 any more. Just don't like messing with nitro....
Any way I think you will be impressed when you meet the Matt, Amy and the team. 
This will also be my first IRCHA! Look me up...

Arggggh. I can't wait! Got my new Synergy t-shirt in from Experience RC today. I bought one so I could feel like part of the in crowd haha. Gonna wear it Friday for the photo shoot.

Yea I'd say if you place any orders on Friday or after you'll be waiting until IRCHA is over, understandably. Although undoubtably someone on one of the two forums will get their thongs in a twist when one of the vendors they order from doesn't ship until afterwards because the vendor attended IRCHA. Happens every year.
