My E7 wiring

I decided to post a few pics of my recent E7 rewiring job.  I did like the way I had run the power back to the FBL unit and receiver so I decided to redo the whole thing.

I used 1/8" braided sleeve.  I shorten all of my servo wires as needed and put the braid on just before adding the plastic connector housing.  The 1/8" braid can be slid over the actual connectors but it's much easier this way.

One thing a started doing a couple of months ago was to run a servo extension to the front for the ESC connection.  I use some double sided foam tape to mount the male connector to the frame adjacent to the ESC.  I shorten the ESC wire and plug in the ESC at that point.  This allows easy access to the ESC lead without having to disconnect it from the FBL unit.  I like to check my Castle log files.

Cheers,
Alan

I'll have to post pics of the 6S E5 I am working on.  Yellow sleeve to match the yellow in the canopy :-)

Looks really nice Alan, I'm looking closely at the other parts of the kit too...You know if I just purchased blades, a motor & batteries I could get the rest of the stuff I need off my N5c, that would be difficult (the decision to actually do it) but a thought!

You can't butcher your N5c - that would just be wrong!

Yes. I agree Chris. If Bob tries that we may need to do an  intervention :-). I may be able to help him out at least on servos since he is now the proud owner or an E7.  Well at least by mid week he will be!

Cheers
