My 12s E5 with Hacker A50

Hey guys, thought I would post up some pics of my E5 with the Hacker A50 motor to show that it DOES fit.  :)

My setup is:
E5 non-stretched
Running Rail 556/96
Hacker A50 10L 580kv
Castle 120hv
Gryphon Regulator
MKS 950/980
Pulse 12s 2600mah packs
AR7200bx with a satellite

Gyro tray-



Under the boom block-


ESC/BEC- (BEC is barely visible underneath the wires)



Motor-


As you can see in the following picture the motor DOES rub on the frames. About the bottom 5 cooling fins rub on the frame, I just let the motor wear-in because the rubbing was minor and didn't cause any issues in flight.


As you can see it was a very tight fit

Fantastic job, the wiring is amazingly clean! I would also love to see a video of it flying, 12s must be nuts!

Thanks! I won't take credit for the wiring though, it was done by a good friend of mine. I let him wire all of my machines.  ;D  12s is pretty awesome, its completely un-boggable.

What is the red "Remove Before Flight" attached to?  Tell me that thing has a pitot tube!

That is a gryphon fail safe switch. Something me and my friends all put on our helicopters. I can plug in my batteries in the pits, put the canopy on...walk out to the field. And as soon as I pull that little red "remove before flight" flag, the helicopter initializes.


It is also a low voltage indicator, flashes VERY bright red when I hit low voltage.
