Got my mega pack yesterday and kudos to Matt for his work with the Knife Edge guys.  The N5 flys great right out of the gate.  Tweeked a few things like tail rate and expo, but short of that I thought it was a very well put together model.  Liked the fact that it does reflect less hang time in autos than the 700 size machines I was using before so should be a good training tool for aerobatic autos with the 50 size machine next spring.

I have 6.5 and 7. Not using 7 much yet. The physics are even better I think.
I do have a RF 6.5 multiplayer session that I am trying to keep up and running 24/7. Occasionally the server kicks it off.  It is Alan's 3D Heli Only.

Cheers

I have Parallels & Windows installed on my Quad core 17" MacBook Pro today. Put 6.5 on it today seems to perform ok in medium graphics mode. May have to try the boot camp method.

Barry.
Go into the graphics settings and turn off some of the fancy stuff.. particles, shadows, etc. That will help...
Yeah. Boot Camp does handle things better. I am always amazed at how much quicker windows runs in boot camp as compared to my windows laptop.

For boot camp do I have to reload the both operating systems?

No. The boot camp assistant will create a partition on you hard drive for windows and leave your osx partition intact. Be sure to give the boot camp partition for windows at good 25gb.

PM me if you need help :-)

So can anyone with 7 confirm if it comes with the heli's included in the mega pack?  I'm gonna be pretty ticked if I just bought the mega pack and I could have just upgraded to 7 where they are included for just a few bucks more.

Is it worth getting 7 if your have 6.5.
I wouldn't mind using my own transmitter.

From what I've read there is not a huge difference between 6.5 and 7.  I am going to wait before upgrading.  Surprised by the lack of models for RF7. Plus, there still is not an E5!

the E6 and N5 are there in RF7, if my memory serves me right.  I was surprised at the E6.  I would have expected the E5 instead.
