Yep,  Not a thing in this world perfect.  Still there is a huge difference in the philosophies of business owners in our little hobby.  I've experienced shock and dismay at the lengths some manufactures will go to deny, obfuscate and shift blame for small problems to the consumer.  I've seen companies spend ten times the amount of money it would have cost them to fix an issue denying it.  The owners of this company clearly value the concept of integrity.

I agree and with all that said, here we are complaining about canopy mounts!  Other camps have much bigger problems to complain about. I burned my eighth gallon with my N7 and its been flying for 1.5 weeks  great job Matt its smooth. 8)

Although I should have brought it up weeks ago when it happened to mine it's such a non-issue I just bought new ones and moved on.

Seriously, if that's the biggest problem I had with a first-batch kit I'd say Matt did a damn good job :)

Cyprus, Steviepoo, Rodney,
Re evaluating my previous post, .......................

K
No problem Kevin, very happy so far, this wasn't a meant to be a big issue and indeed there are only ever a few minor things on the forum and sure Matt will have a look. Indeed I had a clutch problem on my recently purchased N5C, resolved quickly. Lucky I had some spare Booya mounts so no interruption at all and cant wait for the weekend. BTW flying with a guy last weekend with a TREX700 Nitro, the difference in power with my YS 91 Tareq and presence in the air was shockingly different in the N7's favour of course :)

And that is exactly why I ended up with a Synergy-exclusive fleet and continue to recommend Synergy when people ask.  The integrity of Matt and Amy along with the excellent support that they and the Synergy team pilots provide is second to none.

Adding to that.  Last year, I attended the fun fly in Snohomish.  While I was talking to Matt, a guy came up to him and was telling him about a problem he was having with his helicopter.  Matt said he thought he knew what might be causing it and told him to bring it by.  The guy brought his helicopter over and Matt spent some time and helped him sort out the issue.  Oh yeah, and it wasn't even a Synergy helicopter.

I had a similar issue with one of mine. It just wouldn't lock in and when it did you could pop it off with just a little force. After taking a closer look I noticed some small plastic shavings from the grommet had gotten in the connector and was not allowing the balls to open completely. I cleaned out the shavings with the tip off a blade and so far it has been working.

I too have this ball issue. After a flight or two, the keychain becomes "stuck" in the mount and I lost a ball today. Is there a fix for this? Grease didnt seem to work for me. Booya part fit directly onto the Sybergy mount?

Booya E7 mount is a direct replacement and you can use the stock grommets with no redrilling of the canopy required.

I had trouble with one of my mounts yesterday.  My issue was that the mount would NOT RELEASE. I struggled for about 20 minutes before the darn thing just decided to work.  I was talking to Jesus for sure.  I used Tri-flo on them as part of my build process.  It was fine for the next two flights and that was the end of the day.  I will keep an eye on it.

One thing I've noticed is if the keychains get stuck sometimes you can rotate them just a little bit inside the mounts and they will break free.  Might want to try it the next time you really have trouble with one not wanting to let go.

Yep.  Pretty much the same problem I was having.  Just installed RCBooya on mine.  Will report back once I get some flights on it.

Well since my first moan, I replaced with Booya and not a single issue since then, still going strong.
