N5c Clutch bearing block
« on: September 19, 2015, 05:38:12 PM »
I have a high pitch squeal in my new N5c.    Swapping parts with my other one, which is fine, I am pretty sure it is coming from the clutch bearing block 110-155.    I was going to replace all the bearings and the block itself.

But - mine in machined metal, versus the one in the manual that is two halves joined with hex standoffs.   I am wondering if the outer race is slipping at high speeds, ~1500 seems to make it happen.

Is there a different number for the metal one I have  ---or--- can I use the one listed in the book ?

   tnx,  Pete

btw - I love the N5c - best heli I ever owned!!!!!

The part number for the aluminum clutch bearing block is 110-156.

I know what you mean about the N5C. I burned almost a whole gallon through mine this afternoon!
