New Synergy Owner!

Hello everyone!

I'm proud to now own my first Synergy! I always wanted to build a Synergy, however I got an incredible deal on a brand new, twice hovered, Synergy E5 for less than half of the cost to build!

I've been flying it for a couple of weeks now and am about to hit flight number 50!! This is an amazing machine that flies beautifully! gone are the days of me flying Align :)

here are some specs

Synergy E5
Rail 556 mains
Rail 96 tail
iKon FBL gyro
Scorpion HKIII-4025-1100
Castle Edge 120HV
Castle BEC Pro
RJX FS-0521HV Cyclic Servos
TORQ BL9188 tail servo
Spektrum remote receivers
Spektrum TM1000 telemetry with voltage and altimeter sensors
Running Pulse 6S 5000mah 65C packs and getting about 5:30-6 mins running 2300rpm

Big thanks to team members Eric Lewis and Jeffrey Barrett as well as non team member Steve Angell for their help in setting this thing up and answering any questions I had about this bird!

Just one heli or just one pic?? I definitely have more pics, and already have thoughts on another one of these! I'm debating between an E5s running 626mm blades, or the E7SE.

Actually, that brings me to a question. What type of packs are recommended for the E7SE? I assume that most run it as a 12S. I'm looking at buying a handful of packs for the E5, but it would be awesome if those packs could double as E7 packs down the road. Any recommendations there?

Just one Synergy ;)

   I like 4500mah packs in the E7SE for some weight savings over 5000s. In my E7SE night rig 4000s or 4500s either one work well with good flight time (5+ minutes) as I fly it at lower headspeeds.
   I run 12s 4000mah packs in my E5 626mm and absolutely love it. They give me about 4 to 4.5min of 3d, they fit well and balance the stretch perfectly.

Congrats and welcome to the family.
You would really love the E7se as well.  4000 packs work well and depending on your flight style, gearing, HS, etc., you can even use 3700 packs to save weight and get 4 minute flights.
